In silico investigation of symptom development model based on coat protein interactions of two cucumber mosaic virus strains

چکیده

Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) causes serious diseases in agricultural crops worldwide, predominantly vegetable and ornamental plants. A critical interaction has been reported between the plant Ferredoxin I (Fd I) protein with coat (CP) of M strain CMV (M-CMV) but not by CP Q (Q-CMV). To ascertain most likely symptom development model based on interacting Fd protein, further silico investigation was performed CPs strains Q-CMV M-CMV. The biological assembly virions is composed hexameric pentameric units. results showed that there were significantly different interactions forms I. Pentameric structural M-CMV interact strongly compared to structures CP, while no significant differences affinities for CPs. it can be deduced probably block activation protein. Therefore, could hypothesized trapping complex lead inhibition activity photosynthetic electron transport chain leading severe seen infected plants It seems any factor inhibits prevent this development. • Different M− CP. Trapping Factors inhibit CP-induced

Pseudorecombination between Two Distinct Strains of Cucumber mosaic virus Results in Enhancement of Symptom Severity

Recently, a Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) strain, named as CMV-209, was isolated from Glycine soja. In this study, symptom expression of CMV-209 was analyzed in detail in Nicotiana benthamiana by comparing with that of CMV-Fny, which is a representative strain of CMV. Using infectious cDNA clones of CMV strains 209 and Fny, symptom expression of various pseudorecombinants between these two strain...

Cucumber mosaic virus coat protein modulates the accumulation of 2b protein and antiviral silencing that causes symptom recovery in planta

Shoot apical meristems (SAM) are resistant to most plant viruses due to RNA silencing, which is restrained by viral suppressors of RNA silencing (VSRs) to facilitate transient viral invasion of the SAM. In many cases chronic symptoms and long-term virus recovery occur, but the underlying mechanisms are poorly understood. Here, we found that wild-type Cucumber mosaic virus (CMVWT) invaded the SA...

preparation of polyclonal antibody against recombinant coat protein of cucumber mosaic virus isolate b13

cucumber mosaic virus (cmv) is one of widely-spread viruses of plants with the broadest host range encompassing over 1200 species. one major limiting factor for detection of the virus is unavailability of the virus-specific antibodies especially in developing countries. recombinant dna technology facilitates antibody preparation without requiring special equipment. in this study, coat protein (...
